BYK Netherlands invests in new plant

On January 11, BYK Netherlands broke ground for a new plant for solvent-based wax dispersions. The modern process plant will replace the existing plant.

BYK is investing a double-digit million euro amount in the new production plant in order to be able to meet the increasing demand from important customers for these specialty products, according to the company's press release.

Solvent-based wax dispersions are used around the world in the production of sheet metal coatings and metal strips, automotive coatings and printing inks as well as wood and industrial coatings. The new plant is scheduled to go into production at the end of 2026.
