Supfina is presenting the LCM superfinishing machine at the AMB trade fair. With this development, the company is taking a further step towards modularity.

From September 10 to 14, 2024, Supfina will be presenting the enhanced Supfina LCM at AMB. The focus of the development was on flexibility and cost-effectiveness in superfinishing.

Modular principle

With the LCM, Supfina offers a solution for numerous superfinishing applications that is ideal for small and medium-sized series. The modular system meets high quality and process reliability requirements and is suitable for the automotive, supplier, hydraulics, aerospace, power generation, medical technology and mechanical engineering industries.

Various models available

The new Supfina LCM is available in two models:

  • LCM 800 center width 40 - 800 mm, workpiece diameter up to 250 mm, up to 6 superfinishing devices
  • LCM 1500 Center width up to 1500 mm, workpiece diameter up to 250 mm, up to 8 superfinishing devices

In addition to superfinishing with a belt or stone, the machine also supports brushing and polishing processes. Optional NC axes for device positioning and / or tip width adjustment simplify set-up. Different loading systems guarantee simple integration into the production process.

Versatile machining options

The Supfina LCM enables machining between centers or centerless, from simple to complex workpieces. These include most types of shafts, racks and sophisticated spherical components. With the crank attachment, even the connecting rod bearings of eccentric and smaller crankshafts can be finished.
