KG has developed the Planet BD in cooperation with manufacturers and coaters of brake discs. This is a solution for precision double face grinding of hard-coated brake discs. The grinding machine is characterized by a patented, force-neutral grinding process that improves the shape and position tolerances. In addition, the service life of the tools is optimized and production costs are reduced.
