At the SurfaceTechnology Germany trade fair, rhv-Technik will be presenting various methods for adding functions to surfaces. These include protective or sliding functions, electrical insulation or hygienic properties.

Rybak + Hofmann GmbH + Co KG rhv-Technik is a service provider for customers in all industries who want to add functional surfaces to their machine components. For this purpose, rhv-Technik can offer various processes.

Surfaces with a variety of functions

For example, the company uses thermal spraying to protect components on bearing or sealing surfaces against wear. Other components require partial electrical insulation. rhv-Technik creates this with aluminum oxide. If the customer requires special sliding properties, a bronze or chromium oxide coating is exactly what is needed. The new type of suspension spraying offers particularly low-porosity and thin high-tech coatings, e.g. in the food sector.

Treating tool spindles

Supplemented by laser welding, a tool spindle can be repaired and tapered, flat and contact surfaces are better than uncoated. Precise mechanical reworking is a matter of course for the company.
