Adler has been pursuing measures to reduce emissions and increase resource efficiency for years, for example through water-based paint systems and the gradual reduction of its carbon footprint. The company also emphasizes its regional roots with its production site in Schwaz. The manufacturer sees its partnership with the nature park as an extension of this commitment.
New education and nature conservation projects
Together with the nature park, additional offers are to be created from 2026. These include a further education module on alpine farming in a changing climate and the expansion of the "Junior Ranger" program. Adler is also supporting a stepping stone biotope near Jenbach, which promotes species that rely on dead wood as a habitat, including tawny owls and specialized insects.
Local commitment
The Karwendel Nature Park is one of the largest protected areas in North Tyrol and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Adler site in Schwaz. With numerous projects, the nature park promotes the protection of alpine habitats, provides environmental education and supports research initiatives. In addition to project funding, activities are planned to bring employees and customers closer to the natural environment, for example through guided hikes. The cooperation is intended to strengthen both the nature park and the regional community.
