In 1925, the then Sanitaria Aktiengesellschaft from Ludwigsburg was facing considerable economic burdens. The company, originally a manufacturer of medical devices, was looking for new prospects in the face of inflation, a shortage of raw materials and the loss of export-oriented markets. An encounter with the paint and varnish manufacturer Lechler provided the decisive impetus: the company was looking for a partner with experience in atomizing liquid materials. On this basis, Sanitaria developed the company's first spray gun - the beginning of a product history that now spans 100 years.
Anniversary outlook and new edition in fall 2025
For the anniversary year 2025, the company is announcing a special edition of its current model, the jet X 100 Years Edition. The surface of this version shows the historical design drawing of the first spray gun, creating a design reference to the company's history. The edition will be released in fall 2025 and is available for a limited time.
Technical features of the special edition model
The anniversary model retains the familiar functional features of the underlying series. These include the atomization technology designed for base and clear coat processes, a removable trigger guard and the adam X pro digital unit for process monitoring. The edition thus combines a historic design with current technical standards.
