Christoph Matheis accompanied the work of the Board of the German Society for Electroplating and Surface Technology (DGO) for many years as Managing Director. He was dismissed by the DGO Board in November 2024.
Tireless commitment
Chairman Dr. Martin Metzner thanked Matheis on behalf of the DGO Board for his tireless and extraordinary commitment and wished him much joy, success and success for his future tasks in the Central Association of Surface Technology. Christoph Matheis expressed his thanks for the trust placed in him over the past few years. "I have always enjoyed the very constructive and open cooperation with the Board and I will always be very happy to be available as a contact person for the interests of the DGO in the future," he said.
Taking the DGO forward
Dr. Daniel Meyer has been working full-time for the DGO since 1 June 2017. Initially as Project Manager for the implementation of the scientific accompanying project for the BMBF funding measure "InnoEMat" and from 2021 as Technical Managing Director. Since then, he has successfully acquired further funding projects for the DGO. "I look forward to continuing on the path we have embarked on and further advancing the DGO with my own impetus," said Meyer. "I am open to all suggestions from our members and look forward to every personal conversation."
