Capital increase for Expanite A/S

Anzeige Other topics | Created by BA

Danish company Expanite receives its largest capital increase to date. Formed 12 years ago from a research company at the Technical University of Denmark, the company can now expand its activities in the USA and its offering in Europe and Asia.

Expanite provides processes for high-performance, gas-phase-based hardening/heat treatment of stainless steel and titanium with reduced environmental impact. The company offers a fully digitized approach to surface hardening, production management and quality control within a business model that includes in-house service centers and technology licensees. The patented solutions are gas-based, shorten processing time, reduce overall energy consumption and eliminate the need for aggressive chemical cleaning before and after processing.

The capital increase is mainly led by the Danish foundation Lauritzen Fonden and the Belgian investment company Finindus, both shareholders in Expanite since 2014. In connection with the capital increase, ownership was merged so that Expanite is now mainly held by these two investors. Lauritzen Fonden in particular has significantly increased its stake in the company.
