Dr. Malte Zimmer, ZVO Head of Environmental and Chemicals Policy, is the new President of the European Surface Treatment Association CETS. He succeeds Dave Eliott of Great Britain, who has headed the association for the past nine years. H. Jaakko Kapanen from Finland became vice president. The third member of the presidium is Anne-Sophie Maze from France.
The task of the new presidium in the next three years will be to continue the successful work and, if possible, to expand it. The surface industry is facing great challenges in the context of the Green Deal and the transformations, which make a strong and well-equipped European representation necessary.
