The current funding update, which is available on the ZVO funding platform in the member area of the ZVO website, focuses on funding for patents/industrial property rights.

With the WIPANO funding program, the BMWE specifically supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that want to protect their research and development results through industrial property rights for the first time. Funding is provided for the entire process of an invention, from the examination of the idea through to its commercialization, with up to 50 percent of the funding being up to 16,000 euros. Information on this can be found on the BMWE website under WIPANO.

Funding vouchers for consultations

Bremen supports SMEs that want to better use and protect their intellectual property. The funding takes the form of vouchers that can be redeemed for consultations, services, patent searches or the official fees for property right applications, especially patents and trademarks. The vouchers can be applied for easily online. The grant of up to 90 percent can be applied for every year. Further information can be found on the website of InnoWi (Patent- und Markenzenztrum Bremen).

Advice on industrial property rights

The Schleswig-Holstein Economic Development and Technology Transfer Agency (WTSH) offers free advice on the subject of industrial property rights. As part of the online consultation days (July 17, September 19), there is also the possibility of a free consultation with a patent attorney. You can register for the online advice day on June 12 here. Further dates and free consultation offers are also listed on the WTSH website.
