At the ZVO Surface Technology Days in Berlin in September, participants can expect around one hundred presentations on current industry topics as well as an industry exhibition with seventy exhibitors.
From digitalization to energy efficiency
The entrepreneur forum "Management meets surface" is the focus of the program. The focus here will be on key topics, including digitalization and artificial intelligence in electroplating and surface technology, chemical metal deposition, technologies/processes for optimized sustainability performance or energy and material efficiency.
Women's network with its own session
There will also be presentations on the recurring topics of "Results from research - young colleagues report", "Functional coatings", "New requirements for electroplating and surface technology" and "From process monitoring to product quality". Female SurFaces, the ZVO's women's network, will also be taking part with a session entitled "Women in surface technology: challenges, opportunities and prospects".
Consultation hour on environmental policy
As in previous years, the consultation hour of the ZVO's Environmental and Chemicals Policy Department will answer questions on European and national environmental and chemicals policy. This will be rounded off with a presentation on PFAS-free sealants.
