The Zentralverband Oberflächentechnik e. V. (ZVO) invites experts from industry, research and development to submit presentation proposals for the ZVO Surface Technology Days 2026. The event will take place in Karlsruhe from September 23 to 25, 2026. The deadline for submitting presentations is January 31, 2026.
With a presentation, participants can present current developments from their fields of work and research - for example on new process technologies, innovative plant and equipment variants or on future topics such as resource efficiency, energy saving, automation, artificial intelligence, hydrogen technologies and the circular economy. The conference offers the opportunity to discuss results with leading experts from the industry and to make new contacts.
Topics of the ZVO Surface Days 2026
The focus will include contributions on fire protection concepts in electroplating and coating companies, securing critical raw materials and future energy systems. New business areas for surface technology, simulation and modeling, automation options, damage analysis, recycling and circularity are also among the key topics. In addition, the permanent topics will be continued, including the "Management meets surface" business forum, bath and surface analysis, digitalization, women in surface technology, cathodic corrosion protection, wear protection and tribology, functional coatings and advances in plant and control technology.
Each presentation is scheduled to last 30 minutes, including a discussion period of five to ten minutes. The program is made up of scientific and practice-oriented contributions. Product or image presentations as well as advertising content are excluded; the mention of product and brand names in the title or abstract should also be avoided.
Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the final program. Contributions will be selected by a panel of experts from the ZVO.
