In his previous positions, Wolfgang Mayer has internationalized development activities. For example, he established and expanded the R&D departments in China, Hungary, Finland and the USA. "This experience will stand me in good stead at Ziehl-Abegg," says Mayer. The mechanical engineer also has a soft spot for "smart product architecture".
The graduate engineer has worked for Kuka since 1996. He initially held various positions in application and software development and later headed up research and development in the field of mechatronics for Kuka Robotics. He has held the position of CTO at Kuka Robotics since 2020.
