Dr. Meyer has been working for DGO since 2017. Previously, he studied mechanical engineering at the TU Chemnitz until 2008, where he subsequently worked in the field of surface technology at the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering IWW. In 2014, he went to industry as an R&D project manager and in 2017 completed his doctorate at TU Chemnitz under Prof. Thomas Lampke on the production of anodic aluminum oxide coatings for wear protection applications.
For many years, DGO has initiated and accompanied industry-relevant R&D projects whose results represent a medium- or long-term benefit for industrial companies. But also the maintenance of personal contact and the technical exchange of ideas contribute significantly to the well-being of the industry. "By taking on the role of technical managing director, I am particularly concerned with emphasizing these unique selling points within the association landscape, and in doing so I would like to underline the role of the DGO as a technical-scientific pillar in the association with the ZVO," says Daniel Meyer. "I would like to shape the future together with the industry membersand look forward to actively supporting and accompanying company-relevant innovation processes of all kinds."
