This year, the ESTAL Congress will take place in Thessaloniki (October 1 to 3). As the largest member of the European umbrella organization European Association for Surface Treatment on Aluminium (ESTAL), the VOA will be contributing its experience. Back in 2009, it organized the congress of the international quality mark QUALICOAT in Munich at the same time as the European ESTAL congress.
From sustainability to artificial intelligence
ESTAL is expecting more than 150 participants at this year's congress in Thessaloniki. The program will focus on topics that affect the European surface finishing industry, influenced by current decisions of the EU Commission. For example, European competitiveness in the global trade context and market trends with an impact on the industry are on the agenda. Sustainability is another topic that will be discussed at the congress. The presentations will also focus on future topics such as the use of artificial intelligence, for example in the surface treatment of aluminum and in testing processes.
