Due to higher input energies or shorter laser pulses, increasingly finer combustible dusts are produced in laser processing. With the degree of fineness, their explosiveness also increases. The new LAS 800 Ex is ignition source free and filters finest laser dusts with HEPA filters of filter class H14 to more than 99.995%. The ignition source-free design of the device ensures that explosions are excluded during intended use, and thus expensive constructive explosion protection can be dispensed with.
Thanks to a variety of settings and options, the LAS 800 Ex can be adapted to the individual conditions of the customer's process, for example 24/7 operation, difficult-to-filter or sticky dusts by means of filter aids, plastic lasers by means of a large gas filter capacity or exhaust or recirculating air operation. It operates quietly and offers an energy-efficient design with IE3 blower and demand-controllable extraction power.
