The smaller Sogevac SV 55 BI² vacuum pump model offers a pumping speed of 55 m³/h, while the larger Sogevac SV 70 BI² model achieves 70 m³/h. Both achieve a total final pressure without gas ballast of less than 0.2 mbar(a). With its frequency converter, the Sogevac BI² also has flexible speed control. This allows the rotary vane pumps to be easily adapted to the respective process requirements. The synthetic oils from Leybold enable maintenance-free operation for up to 3 a or 24,000 h in LC or GC-MS applications (liquid or gas chromatography-mass spectrometry). Thanks to the lower generator speeds of 1500 rpm, the noise level is only 58 or 59 dB(A).
Vacuum pumps require little space
Thanks to their compact design, the vacuum pumps have dimensions of 402 × 304 × 333 mm (L x W x H). The weight is 31 kg. According to Leybold, the engineers have achieved this not least by integrating the permanent magnet motor and redesigning the oil housing. The volume and weight of the pumps are almost halved.
The packaging made of recyclable, biodegradable material has shock indicators for optimum pump protection. A hinged unloading ramp also makes unpacking easy and safe. Thanks to the rollable design and the handles on the oil housing cover, the new Sogevac BI² can be transported and installed safely. The pump no longer needs to be lifted.
