Thomas Kaeser turned 70 on August 14. Born the third of seven children, he learned early on to negotiate and find solutions among his siblings.

Family is still close to his heart. Not only his own, but also the Kaeser Kompressoren family of companies, which has become increasingly successful and larger over the years and has expanded all over the world. In 2023, Kaeser employs over 7500 people and is active in more than 140 countries with over 50 subsidiaries and around 70 exclusive contractual partners. Thomas Kaeser has always remained true not only to his home base in Coburg as the main production location, but also to his conviction: "We are a family company. Emphasizing that is important to me."

Kaeser's wealth of ideas, for which he was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit in July of this year, also characterizes the Kaeser Kompressoren company. For more than 100 years of the company's history, the supplier of compressed air systems has been growing and, over time, has been able to become the technical world market leader in this field. Kaeser Kompressoren's mission is to provide efficient, reliable, economical and sustainable compressed air solutions that help companies around the world produce and grow more efficiently and safely, creating new jobs and prosperity.
