In less than two weeks, the industry's most important trade fair, PaintExpo, will open its doors in Karlsruhe for all those involved in the world of painting. The organizers are expecting around 430 exhibitors from 25 countries to exhibit in three exhibition halls, with 31,500 square meters of exhibition space already occupied. This means that the trade fair has not yet been able to grow towards the pre-Corona level of over 500 exhibitors. Nevertheless, it is a good sign that so many companies in the industry find it important to come to Karlsruhe despite the sometimes fierce economic headwinds that are currently blowing against many in Germany and around the world. Especially in difficult times, trade fairs often generate a positive spirit of optimism - as the first PaintExpo after the Corona period clearly demonstrated.
"The general conditions for the industry are currently challenging. That's why we're very pleased that we'll be able to achieve the high exhibitor numbers of the last edition of PaintExpo 2024 again and that a more comprehensive range of products and services will be available to visitors on a larger area," says Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.
Very high internationality and numerous new exhibitors
There's a good chance that PaintExpo will once again live up to its claim of presenting the entire spectrum of international products and services for industrial coating technology along the entire value-added chain this year: 45 percent of the exhibitors will be international. Besides Germany, most exhibitors come from Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Poland and France. However, the exhibitors are not only from Europe: companies from the USA, India and China, among others, are also presenting their portfolios. Many new exhibitors have also been won over by the trade fair concept: Every seventh exhibitor is represented at PaintExpo for the first time.
