Testing ultrasonic baths with measuring system from Köchel

Anzeige Measuring and testing | Created by SP

The new measuring system can be used to analyze cavitation in the cleaning tank. The system documents all parameters to be taken into account and creates a test report.

High-purity products are often cleaned in ultrasonic cleaning systems. The cleaning effect depends on many parameters. The degassing of the medium, the influence of the cleaning agent, the flow rate during bath maintenance, the loading of goods, the baskets, the ageing of the US transducers and many other factors play an important role. Conventional tests on the quality of cleaning processes with aluminum foils are uncertain and cannot be reproduced cleanly, are not quantifiable and are difficult to document. With Cavispector, cleaning processes can now be analyzed and monitored.

Cavispector precisely measures the influence of all parameters of the cleaning process and enables the definition of an ideal process window as well as the monitoring of this window. During the cleanliness test, Cavispector can ensure comparable tests, as the ultrasonic devices can be set in a defined manner during extraction. The mechanical cleaning effect of the ultrasonic bath can also be recorded, optimized and verified.
