Telsonic has launched a new DCG cleaning generator for effective final and intermediate cleaning of a wide range of workpieces. The generator with frequencies of 25 or 40 kHz can be easily integrated into the automation network. It provides the higher-level control system with valuable process feedback, for example on performance monitoring, pulse and degassing operation and even error messages that make servicing easier. This increases process transparency and system availability.
Available as a free-standing or built-in device
At approx. 164 mm high, 106 mm wide and just under 400 mm long, the cleaning generator is very compact and designed for use in harsh industrial environments. It can be used both as a floor-standing or built-in device in the control cabinet and is compatible with the previous model on the process side. The tube resonator can remain in the cleaning cabin when it is replaced.
How ultrasonic cleaning works
An ultrasonic cleaning system consists of a generator, a converter and a resonator. The generator and the converter (with piezo-ceramic) produce the ultrasound. The resonator (tube oscillator) distributes the ultrasound into the cleaning medium. Bubbles are created in the liquid (cavitation), which implode during the pressure phases and thus generate the cleaning effect. The cleaning effect depends on the temperature, the pressure, the concentration of the additives and the settings of the device. Process transparency through feedback from the cleaning generator is therefore important for an effective process.
