At this year's SPIE Photonics West Exhibition, technotrans will be exhibiting energy-efficient Peltier cooling systems and liquid cooling modules. Possible field of application: Healthcare & Analytics

Compact and energy-efficient thermal management solutions for laser applications are the focus of technotrans at this year's exhibition in Bellingham, USA. The space-saving cooling systems based on Peltier technology are available both for equipment integration and as stand-alone solutions. The company will also be exhibiting its new p1000 liquid cooling modules for use in medical, laboratory and analysis technology. These are also available with the natural refrigerant propane as an environmentally friendly alternative.

The refrigeration is based on Peltier elements using semiconductors in plate form. A voltage is generated at these elements so that one side of the plate remains cold and the opposite side remains warm. For this reason, technotrans Peltier devices do not contain any moving parts. In this way, neither vibrations nor noise emissions are generated. The semiconductor plates also react particularly quickly and adjust the cooling capacity directly when the voltage changes. This enables fast and precise control of the supply temperature.
