The primary task of the advisory board is to actively accompany the business development of Surfunction GmbH. Furthermore, the board has the task to advise and support the management of Surfunction in essential decision-making issues. The current focus is on the strategic further development, the intensification of the market development as well as the accompanying professionalization of production and organizational structures.
The advisory board of Surfunction consists of three members, each elected for three years. The head of the Chair of Functional Materials at Saarland University and co-founder of Surfunction, Prof. Dr. Frank Mücklich, will chair the advisory board in the future. The Saarbrücken entrepreneur Dr. Andreas Leffer, managing director of the steel and apparatus engineering company Leffer Engineering GmbH, and Hartmut Gottschild, an experienced industry and management expert, were delegated as further advisory board members.
