The new Spectromaxx LMX10 is available in two variants. The basic model is equipped with the same airborne optics with state-of-the-art CMOS sensors that are also used in the Spectrolab S. This extends the relevant and usable wavelength range from 233 nanometers (nm) to 670 nm. A new option extends the wavelength range of the Spectromaxx to 766 nm, thus also enabling the analysis of potassium.
The Spectromaxx Advanced also uses high-resolution CMOS technology. Here, the air optics cover the same wavelengths as the basic model. However, additional UV optics also cover the lower spectral range from 120 to 235 nm. This includes a new function for analyzing oxygen in copper. Here, too, the new option allows the wavelength range to be extended to 766 nm, enabling the analysis of potassium.
