Dr. Michael Zöllinger, Managing Director of Schlötter Galvanotechnik Geislingen, presented a donation check in the amount of 1,500 euros to Beate Zumbühl, Chairwoman of the Förderverein Pro Palliativ e.V., on March 6, 2023. The amount comes from the proceeds of the annual raffle campaign of all employees and trainees of Dr.-Ing. Max Schlötter GmbH & Co. KG. Pro Palliativ e.V. is a support association of the Center for Palliative Medicine of the Alb-Fils Clinics at the Helfenstein Clinic Geislingen. Dr. Michael Zöllinger emphasized that it was important to him to be aware of the needs of people in our immediate vicinity, given all the current disasters around the world. "We hope that our donation will help support the work of the Förderverein and important partners of the Alb-Fils-Kliniken in Geislingen."
The support association Pro Palliativ e.V. supports palliative medicine in the Geislingen region by improving the care of seriously ill and dying people. This includes supporting nursing staff and palliative care specialists, promoting education and training measures, and funding research projects.
