The Satajet X 5500 comes with a special nozzle set that was developed specifically for clear coat processing. The clear coat nozzle bears the additional designation "cc" for "Clear Coat". The new gun is accordingly designated Satajet X 5500 RP 1.3cc. The advantages for users lie in optimized material distribution and finer atomization. According to the company, the result is closed wetting at already low film thicknesses.
The clearcoat nozzle of the Satajet X 5500 is based on Sata's I-nozzle technology. This enables fine and homogeneous atomization for a clean clearcoat level. Even at low film thicknesses, a closed film cover is produced. In addition, the jet geometry of the O-nozzles enables controlled application.
