Ruderer started in 1987 as a trading partner of the American adhesives manufacturer H.B. Fuller, whose industrial adhesives are used worldwide. In 2007, Ruderer acquired the rights to the traditional adhesive brand technicoll and expanded its own adhesives range to include various products. At the same time, this was the step towards becoming an adhesives manufacturer.
In 2018, the generation change in the management took place: Petra and Jens Ruderer followed their parents Irene and Volker Ruderer. Today, the company focuses on product range expansion and adhesive development, such as contact, hot melt or reactive adhesives, cyanoacrylates, adhesives and sealants, or the development of dissolving and sprayable adhesives. Sustainability and environmental friendliness are of great importance to the company.
