Together with the Institute International Trendscouting (IIT) at Hildesheim University, RAL Farben has developed the trend colors for 2027 and beyond. Under the motto "Envision + Craft", the collection combines future-oriented design with precision craftsmanship. The palette comprises 15 coordinated shades - from vibrant to neutral - and enables harmonious combinations in different areas of application.
Trend research and practical relevance
The selection is based on systematic trend research with semi-annual panels and the evaluation of around 20,000 images. Industry partners such as Covestro, Gabriel Fabrics, Object Carpet and Tiger Coatings have transferred the tones to various materials in order to test their practical feasibility.
Application with the RAL Trendbox
For practical use, RAL Colors offers the Trendbox with all 15 shades as RAL D6 single sheets and as samples of metal, plastic, textile and carpet.
