The ZVO is looking for presentations for the ZVO Surface Days. Submissions are now possible at oberflaechentage.zvo.org/vortragsaufruf-2025. We are looking for practical presentations on these key topics:
- Circularity in electroplating and surface technology (processes, products, product design)
- Hydrogen & surface technology
- PFAS: Direct and indirect consequences of a Europe-wide floropolymer ban and possible alternatives
- Artificial intelligence in electroplating and surface technology (production & administration)
- Digitalization in surface technology
- Technologies/processes/solutions for optimized sustainability performance: energy, carbon footprint, energy efficiency and material efficiency
- Submissions are also possible for the permanent subject areas listed on the ZVO website.
Advertising presentations excluded
A presentation should not exceed 30 minutes including five to ten minutes for the subsequent discussion. Product, sales, advertising and image presentations are excluded, as is any other content aimed at advertising or sales promotion. A topic proposal must be submitted with an abstract and a short CV. The reviewers will then review the proposals in February 2025 and compile the program in March. All those who have submitted a topic will be informed by e-mail whether their presentation has been included in the program as soon as the program has been finalized.
