The best young talents in the coating industry were honored at the PraxisForum Industriebeschichtung in Wetzlar. The "Everyone needs powder" award, which was presented for the fourth time this year, recognizes the achievements of graduates of the "Process mechanic for coating technology" apprenticeship. The prize, sponsored by QIB e.V., honors technical skills, commitment and innovative approaches that make the award winners role models for the industry.
The 2024 award winners
1st place went to Maria Seeber (19), apprentice at ROPA Fahrzeug- und Maschinenbau GmbH. Samuel Rist (19), apprentice at Josef Wagner GmbH, came second. Third place was shared by Andreas Becher (22), Waku Reutlingen GmbH, and Arben Imeri (24), Kaeser Kompressoren Coburg. In addition to a total prize money of 1000 euros, the winners received an invitation to the PraxisForum industrial coating congress. The event offered the young talents the opportunity to exchange ideas with leading experts in the industry, learn about the latest technological trends and gain inspiration for the future.
