The Powder Day, a joint event of GSB International and the Austrian Research Institute for Chemistry and Technology (OFI), will take place again on November 13, 2025. The biennial Powder Day is aimed at powder coaters, production managers and quality assurance employees. The OFI Powder Day is held in Brunn am Gebirge, near Vienna.
Focus of the event
This year's event will focus on ways to save energy costs. It will also focus on ways to ensure quality when powder coating aluminium, steel and galvanized steel in accordance with GSB AL 631 and GSB St 663.
Lectures from the industry
The speakers at the event are practitioners from the member companies of GSB International, a quality association for the coating of components. In their specialist presentations, they will inform participants about various innovations from the world of powder coatings, pre-treatment chemicals, co-protection with powder coatings and other topics. The day will be rounded off with best-practice examples and the opportunity to network.
