Thermal management specialist technotrans draws a positive conclusion from this year's Fakuma appearance. "Demand for energy- and production-efficient technology is growing rapidly. The positive feedback from trade fair visitors proves that we are meeting the needs of the industry with this," says Nicolai Küls, Managing Director of technotrans solutions GmbH.
Among other things, the company presented a new range of chillers with cooling capacities from 100 to 1,500 kW and an EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) value of up to 7.5. The systems feature an energy-saving module as standard thanks to variable condensing temperature control and a shell-and-tube evaporator with one or two redundant refrigeration circuits. Visitor interest in temperature control technology focused on the new compact teco series, which is available in four different performance levels and configurations. The central element of the temperature control units is a pump efficiency module (PEM), which enables a high level of energy efficiency.
