The classic full-cone nozzles - also known as turbulence nozzles - use a specially shaped swirler that gives the liquid flowing through the nozzle a rotational speed. Due to this rotational speed of the liquid, the water jet exiting the nozzle, takes on a cone shape. The spray angle, which can vary from 15° to 120°, depends on the design of the nozzle, but also on the supply pressure. Engineers have overcome this obstacle. This was done by developing a -already patented- swirl plate that guarantees the homogeneity of the spray angle regardless of the inlet pressure.
The Dplus series nozzles deliver a full cone jet with a characteristic spray angle independently at inlet pressures between 1 and 10 bar. The spray distribution is perfectly balanced and symmetrical with very uniform coverage in the circular impact area. The -already patented- swirl plate ensures the homogeneity of the spray angle independent of the operating pressure. The large free internal channels prevent clogging of the nozzle even with large particles and guarantee low local velocities. At the same time, the high and controlled internal turbulence ensures stable and reliable performance over the entire working pressure range.
