Inline-capable plasma technology
Openair Plasma and PlasmaPlus are environmentally friendly pre-treatment processes. They enable ultra-fine cleaning, surface activation and functionalized nano-coatings on prismatic, cylindrical batteries or pouch cells in a dry, inline process that requires only compressed air and electricity.
Cleaning and protection
By removing impurities, increasing surface energy and improving adhesion, plasma solutions by Plasmatreat support critical steps in battery manufacturing, such as cell-to-cell bonding or corrosion protection with PlasmaPlus AntiCorr coatings. In wire bonding and contact cleaning, open-air plasma ensures reliable electrical connections. Plasma treatment also enables direct coating applications as an alternative to costly film packaging.
