The UV adhesives in Panacol's Vitralit range are suitable for stress relief of wires on the commutator. These adhesives are easy to handle: they are applied to the wire/commutator connection and then cured in seconds using UV light. Fast curing means that commutators can be produced in large quantities with short cycle times.
Bonding magnets securely
Special, newly developed dual-curing (UV/moisture) adhesives are available for bonding magnets in electric motors: Due to the lack of translucency of the magnets, the adhesives used can only be cured with UV light at the visible edges. In the shadow zones below the magnets and in the rotor pockets, they then cure at room temperature in humid conditions.
Special acrylate adhesive for balancing
Panacol now also offers a special acrylate adhesive for balancing in fan rotors. This UV adhesive with a particularly high density can be jetted into the balancing pockets of fan rotors and thus replaces balancing with metal parts. This process helps to significantly reduce production time. The higher precision also significantly reduces component rejects. Dr. Hönle's UV devices are suitable for curing the above-mentioned UV adhesives. These light units are matched to the wavelengths of Panacol's UV adhesives.
CWIEME - Coil Winding an Electrical Manufacturing Event
The special adhesives can be seen from May 14 to 16, 2024 at CWIEME, an event on coil winding and electrical manufacturing, in Berlin.
