The new generation of PaintChecker Line laser sensors and the angled PaintChecker Angle variant from Optisense can withstand even the harshest environments thanks to their robust industrial housing. The sensors can also be replaced quickly without the need for complex brackets.
The sensors have a diode laser as a light source - with all the advantages of semiconductor technology such as a long service life, high efficiency and absolute vibration resistance. The coating thickness measuring ranges are between 1 and 1,000 μm. The optimized thermal design enables continuous use with high measuring rates of up to 2.5 Hz. The laser sensors achieve protection class IP 50, weigh 330 g and measure 38 x 36 x 104 mm as a PaintChecker Line or 77 x 36 x 65 mm as an angle sensor. The industrial sensors are also available as high-power versions. The models equipped with LARES technology are eye-safe.
