The 72DL PLUS ultrasonic thickness gauge provides reliable, laboratory-quality measurements. It can display coatings, paint layers, plastics and other multi-layer materials in up to six layers simultaneously. The instrument features a color touch screen and five measurement templates so thickness changes can be accurately tracked and displayed. Integrated data logging and file management ensure streamlined collection and processing of thickness readings.
Through the PC interface application, inspectors have access to intuitive tools for reviewing and managing data for multiple devices and test parts. The networked and cloud-enabled gauge for Industry 4.0 operations supports WLAN, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and integrates with the Olympus Scientific Cloud (OSC). The thickness gauge meets drop test specifications (MIL-STD-810G) for protection against drops or impacts, IP65 requirements for protection against dust and moisture, and performs reliable measurements at high and low temperatures with an operating temperature range of -10 °C to 50 °C.
