Stobag AG, a Swiss manufacturer of sun blinds, awnings and weather protection solutions, invested in a particularly energy-efficient powder coating line from ener.CON Award winner e.Luterbach. An important pillar of Strobag's sustainability concept is the layer thickness measurement of the powder coating that has not yet been baked. This is because, in the case of undercoating, material that has already been coated must be disposed of, and in the other case, an unnecessary amount of powder is consumed. Strobag has now solved this problem with a handheld measuring device from Coatmaster. It offers easier handling as well as increased precision.
