The smaller IPD-35 model achieves a maximum pumping speed of 35 m³/h, while the larger IDP-45 model achieves 45 m³/h. Both units achieve a final vacuum of 1.07 × 10-2 mbar and are air-cooled. The motor output reaches 1.1 kW in each case. The manufacturer specifies the sound pressure level as 58 and 59 dB(A) respectively with a tolerance of ± 2 dB(A).
According to the supplier, these vacuum pumps are suitable for applications that require a higher pumping capacity without the disadvantages of oil-lubricated units. Maintenance is only required every two to three years and can be carried out internally in around half an hour.
With speeds between 1,200 and 1,980 rpm, these new vacuum pumps are also a more environmentally friendly alternative to oil-sealed units, which were previously the only option for higher speeds. This eliminates oil emissions and the disposal of hazardous waste.
