Normal QIB testing round planned for 2022

The last two years have been very challenging for the Qualitätsgemeinschaft Industriebeschichtung e.V. (QIB), both at the office and for the testing institute. For example, many companies had to deviate from internal regulations that all on-site inspections should be completed in the first half of the year. This led to considerable additional expenses due to rescheduling and also in the processing of the audits in the office, as a large proportion of the audits accumulated in the last few days before the end of the year. A normal round of inspections is planned again for 2022, and all on-site quality inspections at the coaters are to be completed in the first half of the year as far as possible. The award of the QIB quality mark or the Qualisteelcoat quality mark ensures the quality of member companies and their coating processes. With the QIB approval, the specifications of the Deutsche Bahn Standard 918340 for powder coaters, EN 1090 or DIN 55633 and DIN 55634 are complied with.
