With Easy-to-Teach (ETT) from Rippert, the painter first carries out the painting process with a manual gun and then paints the component manually. The ETT system records and stores the movements, speeds, paths and the switching on and off of the gun with at least two cameras. The recorded movement points are displayed graphically in the software and can then be processed. The software generates a robot program from the data and exports the result as robot source code. After copying the source code to the robot, it can follow the paths with repeat accuracy.
Location-independent and fast programming
The user does not need extensive programming skills or specialist knowledge of robot technology. With the ETT solution, the source code can be generated at a different location than the painting robot. The Easy-to-Teach system reduces the time required to program the robot to just a few minutes.
Transfer of know-how
The experienced painter teaches the robot how to paint. This means that the years of experience and specialist knowledge of the skilled workers can be transferred to the industrial robot without the need for a robot expert. The system is easy to operate. A brief introduction to the system is all that is needed to work efficiently with it. The system offers a precision of up to 1 mm, ensuring accurate and reliable performance in various applications.
Visualization of the paths
In the software, the paths can be viewed and reworked by adjusting the speed, tool angle and position of each detected point or the entire trajectory. The system is adapted to the spray gun that the operator is familiar with, increasing efficiency and ease of use.
