The new T 220 turbo compressor from Boge is significantly smaller than an oil-free screw compressor with the same output. Its footprint is only half the size; the weight is two thirds less. It is also very energy-efficient and generates a delivery rate of 35.6 cubic meters per minute at a pressure of 7.5 bar.
Three-stage compression principle without the use of oil
The compression principle is based on three-stage compression, which does not require any oil at all. Two permanent magnet motors drive titanium impellers of different sizes and ensure a high energy density. 60,000 revolutions per minute are generated without the use of a gearbox. As the drive shaft is mounted on air bearings and is self-stabilizing, it requires neither additional energy nor lubricants.
Sustainable operation with economic benefits
The T 220 not only produces class 0 oil-free compressed air, it also operates very quietly with a sound pressure level of 70 decibels ampere. The comprehensive maintenance concept promises planning security. The maintenance contract is initially valid for five years, but can be extended several times and extended to full service.
