New thermal imaging camera from Hikmicro

Anzeige Measuring and testing | Created by BA

The Hikmicro E02 is a lightweight, affordable and easy-to-use thermal imaging camera for the construction, HVAC and home sectors as well as for electrical thermography.

The camera is equipped with a VOx detector with a pure infrared resolution of 96 x 96 pixels at fixed focus (scaling to 240 x 240 possible with SuperIR). With a thermal accuracy of ±2%, it enables a sharp color display at a refresh rate of 20 Hz for a smooth image even when panning or viewing moving objects. Its measuring range extends from -20°C to +400°C.

Improved thermal imaging thanks to SuperIR

The thermal imaging camera uses Hikmicro's "SuperIR" image enhancement technology to scale the thermal resolution from 96 x 96 (9,216) pixels to 240 x 240 (57,600) pixels. With an IR sensor, a 0.3 MP camera for the visible range and a NETD < 50 mK, the camera delivers very good image quality. A 4 GB flash memory offers space for approx. 3,000 images. Temperature alarms help to detect abnormal areas immediately. Users can select the best color scale and fusion mode for their work from four color palettes. The E02 series is robust and durable thanks to IP54 certification and can withstand drop tests from a height of up to 2 meters. Its built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery enables continuous operation for up to eight hours.

Proprietary software for evaluation

Users can evaluate the thermograms using the free Hikmicro Analyzer software, in which the radiometric thermal images and videos can be displayed, edited and analyzed. It supports batch processing and enables particularly fast report generation through the use and customization of templates.
