Prior to his new position, Jörg Krames was responsible for the Management Coatings business line as Vice President Global Key Account at Eckart, another Altana Group company, for 15 years. Before that, the qualified mechanical engineer and chemical engineer with a doctorate was Director Key Accout at BASF Coatings. He also has experience from various positions at leading automotive manufacturers in Japan and Germany.
Driving brand perception and digitalization
Krames has set himself the goal of driving forward the brand perception of the measuring equipment manufacturer and the digitalization of business processes. He sees transformation projects and the continuous development of employees as important priorities in order to strengthen BYK-Gardner as the market leader.
