The new H2O Head of Process Design Fabian Argast has already been a member of the expert team at H2O's own application center for wastewater-free production for five years. The fact that he is now taking over the management is not a big change for him, he says: "I have already taken over the management of my projects before and specified the process in the laboratory. I worked closely with the previous manager, provided wastewater advice and drew up wastewater concepts for customers." Argast's tasks also included holding webinars on the potential of closed-loop recycling and advising colleagues from Service, Sales and Engineering, as well as partners.
Reducing CO2 emissions
The many organizational tasks are new. Argast is now also supporting the laboratory at the China branch and will be devoting more time to development. He and his department want to play an active role in reducing the company'sCO2 footprint. To this end, he wants to take a close look at operating resources and focus more intensively on innovations that help to reduceCO2 emissions. To do this, however, the team needs to be expanded, says Argast: "I am open to young talent straight out of university. People with knowledge of chemistry who are keen to get involved in the topic of wastewater are desirable."
