The new gun family is modular in design, making it suitable for a wide range of customer requirements. The basic gun of the PEA-X1 can be optionally combined with a short holder, an XL extension or robot adapters. The PER-X1 can be combined with various robot mounts, and can be used singly or in duplicate. Depending on the application, different nozzles are available, which are also compatible with the PEM-X1 hand gun that is part of the product family. The new angled nozzles, for example, can be used to reach even difficult spots on the workpiece. Even with metallic and effect powders, the new guns achieved high coating quality, according to Wagner.
The guns are suitable for both single-color and color-changing systems and have been optimized in terms of their color-changing and cleaning capabilities. The streamlined design of the guns has only minimal attack surfaces for powder accumulation on the gun body. At the same time, it supports efficient, automatic blow-off during color change. As a result, users benefit from reduced scrap.
