The new system for matt finishes comprises two intermixable clearcoats: Permacron Matt System 8185 and Permacron Silk Gloss System 8170. Refinishers can now easily determine the six matt grades used for original automotive finishes. In addition, the clearcoats can be used for any type of repair. They also offer up to 35% shorter drying times compared to some of the existing competitor solutions and help paint stores save energy.
The system is complemented by Speis Hecker's digital applications. The Color Dialog Phoenix colorimeter, for example, helps refinishers identify the right formula for matte shades. With the Phoenix digital color management software, they can also quickly and easily retrieve the corresponding gloss level for color formulas.
