DXQanalyze works together with Dürr's Advanced Analytics module. The software uses the data digitally recorded in the surface inspection for each workpiece. In addition, the workpiece-related data records are enriched with process parameters, alarms and anomalies in the individual processing steps. This creates a digital file for each individual car body that maps the entire production or life cycle, including any defects detected.
With the help of machine learning, the software recognizes whether the defect is a one-off or systematic, such as recurring quality defects in certain colors. In a further analysis, the causative process step is identified based on the data of detected defect patterns. In this way, systematic quality weaknesses in production that are difficult to detect become clear and can be eliminated. Errors can thus be avoided, and the first-run rate increases.
