New from Micro Epsilon are the sensor systems thicknessGAUGE. They are used for precise thickness measurement of strip and sheet material up to 25 mm. Several models with different sensor types, measuring ranges and measuring widths enable inline thickness measurement of different materials and surfaces.
The fully assembled system consists of a stable frame to which two optical distance sensors are attached. They detect the thickness of the measured object according to the differential principle. The sensors are aligned on the mounting side. A factory calibration of the thickness enables a high precision in the thickness measurement.
