With viva 4.0, Metrohm presents comprehensively revised software for voltammetric analysis. The new features contribute to improved analysis.

Viva is a control and evaluation software for voltammetry measuring devices, dosing devices and sample changers from Metrohm, which enable complete automation for voltammetry and CVS technology. The new version offers various innovations and advantages.

Automatic detection of rising calibration curves

Viva 4.0 supports rising calibration curves for the first time - they are recognized automatically without the need for special method settings. This enables greater flexibility in method development and more precise determination of additives such as brighteners. Measurements of electrolyte and blank values can now be carried out separately and used multiple times. This reduces reagent consumption and increases sample throughput.

Better correction of non-specific interferences

The subtraction of complete blank curves enables better correction of non-specific interferences and ensures flatter background curves - ideal for demanding analyses where the analysis peak is located in a peak slope.
